It is our great pleasure to announce that Shot From Above LLC has been granted exemption by the FAA under Part 333 for commercial purposes the use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for Motion Picture and Television productions.

Not all FAA Part 333 exemptions are created equal. They provide guidelines in which operators must follow and what uses the operators are permitted. If you are looking to hire or contract a drone company verify that they are FAA Part 333 exempt and their exemption covers the use for which you are hiring them. (Example: An operator with an exemption for real estate photography should not be doing surveying work)
